Technology will set you free. This is a phrase that can have many interpretations, both positive and negative. I prefer to take it from a positivist perspective and I think it encompasses two of the concepts that are most present in my work, technology as a reflection of the inevitable passion of man to discover and freedom as an ideal state to reach understanding.
My work is not that it is especially technological, but in it I try to reflect this eclosion that we are living with the spectacular scientific advances, communications, nanotechnology, quantum physics, biology, .... But above all I am interested in how strange everything is.
Over time, different series have emerged in my work under these premises, but they have in common the plexiglass.
The plexiglass painted on aluminum frames as boxes, are the materials I mainly use, taking advantage of the transparency of the plexiglass, I leave exposed areas in which there is always something inside, textures, photography, video, ... As in all things Of life there is always an "interior", where it is usually the most interesting.
The experimentation, the constructive, the expanded, all this is part of the constant state of art.
